Ilya, 8
“My name is Anna. My son, Ilya, has autism. Before the war began, his autism was calming down, but since hearing the bombs and sirens, it has worsened. Even since we have arrived in Denmark, if he hears train make a loud noise, he shouts “we are going to die now!” It is very hard. We are waiting on registration so that we can get help for Ilya at a Danish school with special assistance. He is a good boy. For the time being, Ilya is helping the food delivery team carry the boxes of food to the canteen.“
