“My parents got married at 18 and have now been together for 30 years! They’re still together – in Ukraine, in danger. When I left for Denmark, I just took two pairs of jeans and two hoodies. My dad asked me “why don’t you take more valuables with you?” My answer: If I could take more with me, it would be you, mum, my cat and rabbit. Now I feel like I died and was reborn in a different life here in Denmark, and I have to say it, the Danish boys are cute!”
