“Before the war in Ukraine, I worked for a company called Jabil. I also have 2 sons. The younger child went to kindergarten and the elder son to school. In my spare time, I worked as a children’s animator and embroidered icons. When the shelling started, my whole life turned upside down. I was very scared for the children because they had never seen anything in this world. Every day I prayed to God to protect us and that nothing bad would happen to us. And God heard my prayers. In Denmark, I calmed down knowing my children were safe, but it is very difficult for us here, everyday I dream of my prosperous Ukraine, I really want everything to end soon so we can go home to my homeland. Sincerely yours.”
