Natalia, 14
“My name is Natalia. I am from Zhytomyr. My mother tells our story: I have two children volunteering in the war. I cannot ask where they are because it could hurt them or their families. Natalia and my 17 year old son came with me to Denmark. It is impossible to not worry. I had a stroke 6 months ago and was operated. I cannot be in stressful conditions; otherwise I too would have volunteered. There were roockets flying over the house at night, and we just had to go to bed anyway. My son Alexey can’t relax. He has closed up and keeps himself to himself. My daughter prefers to seek out entertainment.”
